Ver­non Wil­son made it three goals in two match­es as he got the lone item for Bethel Unit­ed to eke out a 1-0 win over Rox­bor­ough Lak­ers in a top-of-the-ta­ble To­ba­go Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion Pre­mier Di­vi­sion en­counter at Good­wood on Wednes­day night.

The win pushed Bethel to 23 points from ten match­es, four clear of Lak­ers which has a match in hand.

At Canaan Ground, Bon Ac­cord, Arthur Moses, Sher­lon Bak­er, Kevin Green and An­cil Camp­bell were all on tar­get as Lam­beau Unit­ed ran out 4-0 win­ners over de­fend­ing cham­pi­ons, St Clair Coach­ing School, which is lan­guish­ing at the bot­tom of the 12-team ta­ble with four points from ten match­es.

Lam­beau's win saw it jump five places to joint third on the ta­ble with Ma­son Hall USSS with 16 points each from nine and eight match­es re­spec­tive­ly. Al­so on the climb is 1976 Phoenix, af­ter whip­ping Youth Stars 3-1 with strikes from Do­minique Roberts, Joel Al­leyne and Jer­ron Al­fred to can­cel out Christo­pher Cros­by's item at Bon Ac­cord. The oth­er match be­tween Sidey's and Geor­gia card­ed for Good­wood was re-sched­uled.
